EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTIONS

ISIPCA Evening – October 15th, 2024 in Paris

We are delighted to announce the premiere of the film ‘Guide(s) du Jeune Parfumeur,’ intended for the training of perfumery students. This film was directed by David Richard, the writer-director of the Héritage(s) testimonials.

A premiere screening followed by a discussion with Francis Kurkdjian, perfumer-creator and President of the Per Fumum Endowment Fund, will take place on October 15th for students and alumni of the renowned ISIPCA perfumery school. This first screening will bring together nearly 350 people before being distributed free of charge to all perfumery schools in France.

INTANGIBLE HERITAGE OF PERFUMERY

Release on October 16th of the Film Heritage(s) Special Edition for Perfumery Students

With over forty testimonies from personalities in Perfumery collected in the visual archive work Héritage(s), a special training-focused edition now complements the Héritage(s) collection.

To achieve this, hundreds of hours of footage were patiently reviewed to extract selected segments and edit them into thematic capsules within a reimagined artistic framework, designed to resonate with the concerns of young people.

This new 41-minute format, specifically created to seamlessly integrate into the training of students and young professionals in perfumery, consists of short modules featuring diverse testimonies on topics such as vocation, training, creation, and advice for young apprentices.

Aimed at being accessible to the widest audience, the film will be provided to schools free of charge and subtitled in English.

To learn more about this special format, you can find the full interview with David Richard on our website.

Dominique Ropion’s testimony will soon be available in Héritage(s).

Thanks to the generosity of the IFF company, Dominique Ropion’s testimony, a key figure in perfumery, joins the Héritage(s) collection and will soon be revealed to the public on the Per Fumum Fund website in both a short version and a full-length version for those who submit a motivated request. We are delighted to preserve the living memory of the personalities who have shaped the history of perfumery.

This content is part of our approach to promoting the intangible heritage of French perfumery, enriching knowledge, and supporting its transmission.
